A Little Bit About Me:

I began writing If Wishes Were Horses early 2021, & whilst finding time was challenging at times, it’s been a truly rewarding experience. From endless hours of research to speaking with homeless people, I’ve learnt so much. Along with Ed Sheeran’s Overpass Graffiti song in my head, which gave me the idea for the overpass scene with Sam & Danica, I forged ahead. I’m pleased to say my novel magnificently showcases the city of Perth, & I hope it makes Perthites proud; a city I now consider home.

When I’m not working or writing, I enjoy taking the dogs to the park & attending fitness class overlooking the Indian Ocean at South Beach. This beautiful part of the world with superb views of Rottnest & Garden islands, is also a setting I chose for my character Sam to visit. I knew it was a place he would immediately feel welcome, with no fear of judgement or accusation.
