Inspiration – Where Does it Come From? πŸ’‘πŸ’‘πŸ’‘

Inspiration is derived from the Latin word β€˜inspirare’ meaning to β€˜breathe into.’ The feeling of being mentally stimulated to manifest what we want to create.

I get asked this a lot, and the truth is, I think it’s everywhere around us. Every little thing we do, see and experience each and every day stimulates us to be creative in life! Driving, work, shopping, exercising, movies, theatre, music; literally everything we do mentally stimulates our brains!

I turn my inspiration into writing; others may create music, movies, draw, dance or help them to work more creatively – think dress designers, artists and even surgeons. Inspiration can provide ideas and help solve problems or perhaps develop a brilliant invention – the manifestations are endless! 😎

Personally, everywhere I go, I’m always watching and paying attention to what’s going on around me. The beach, the park, restaurants, watching TV and reading books – yes, even when I’m writing my own book, I’m reading the books of others! πŸ“š πŸ€·β™€οΈ

So I guess I don’t really have the proper answer to this question, all I can truly say is that character names, places, storylines, plots and visualisations just seem to pop into my head, but I’m convinced that they all come from daily inspiration! ✍🏻 🌟
