He was an attractive guy in a rugged way with piercing blue eyes, a good head of tawny hair, and a goatee beard. The locals were wary of the tall stocky fellow, and quite rightly so. He had quite the collection of shotguns and wasn’t afraid to use them should anyone dare trespass on his land. Between the guns and the Doberman dogs, unless they had business with Ned Fisher, people gave his place a wide berth. There were rumours in town that over the years a couple of men had disappeared after disagreements with Ned, and word on the street was that they were buried somewhere on Ned’s land. Ned couldn’t care less about the rumours and was happy to let the gasbags spread their gossip. He hoped it would make people think twice before double-crossing him, but despite being crooked as a dog’s hind leg, Ned Fisher was no murderer. He was as devious as they come, however, and under the cover of a scrap merchant dealer, Ned had established a very successful illegal business dealing in stolen goods. He was a shrewd and intelligent businessman and fenced anything that he could confidently sell on. Ned often received stolen cars which he would promptly park out of sight in a large shed at the top of the property where they would be chopped up. Along with Mick and Billy, sometimes they worked all night, erasing engine numbers, and removing VIN plates and any hidden tracking devices. Once dismantled, the various car parts would be moved on rapidly through a network of sources. Within a few hours of arrival, there would be no evidence of the stolen vehicle in existence, and the majority of parts had been moved on already… PS Hope you like the photo of my smallest fan 💙 💙 💙
